Photography Equipment

My first camera was a Canon EOS 500 film SLR, handed down from an uncle who had for some reason lost his interest in photography.
After two years of using up copious amounts of film with a terrible good-shots-to-total-shots ratio, I switched to digital, and got myself a Nikon D40.
